Understanding the “Green” Movement and Its Relevance to Our Community
HAWTHORNE, CA (November 12, 2008) – The green hive, advancing the movement toward greener, sustainable design and construction practices, today announced that CEO Kris D. Kimble will address 200 El Camino College staff, faculty and advisory committee members about the “green” movement.
Kimble will deliver an educational address that focuses the audience on recent “green” innovations and partnerships developing in the south bay that have positive and interesting application to the business community.
Advisory committee members have opportunity to influence student education and curriculum as local business representatives provide input and direction to the college programs on El Camino’s campus. The “green” movement is on everyone’s mind, and Kimble will discuss how businesses can benefit by being informed.
Kimble is an authority on the green marketplace, having held positions at Waste Management, Lighting Technology Services and Sun Energy Solutions. Prior to his experience with sustainable (green) companies, Kimble held positions with IBM, Motorola and Pagenet.
