Dear California Energy Commission,

As a real estate development professional who has been involved in the green building movement for over 10 years, I would like to submit this letter of support for the creation of several Green Hive facilities throughout the state of California. With more municipal and state agencies encouraging and mandating green building practices, the building and development industry is unprepared to meet the challenge. Facilities such as The Green Hive will provide centrally located and comprehensive resource centers for the materials, products, methods and technologies needed facilitate the execution of smart and sustainable buildings. Additionally, The Green Hive will provide the resources to help train professionals to meet the growing demand expertise in the green building field.

I share in the excitement throughout the Los Angeles community for The Green Hive to open its first facility in downtown Los Angeles this fall. I hope that the CEC helps to provide the funding necessary to open these revolutionary resource centers throughout the state.
